Sold by Manor Classic Cars near York in July 2019. Seller's description below.
    www.manorclassiccars.com/vehicles-for-sale/1962-jaguar-e-type-series-1-3-8-roads ...

We are delighted to offer this very special E Type in glorious fully restored condition. Ours is a 1962 manufactured roadster with original matching 3.8 litre engine supplied new to the USA, it later returned to the UK via Denmark being first registered on home shores in 2008. Restored to a very high standard from 2009 to 2012, our E Type has been property of just one gentleman in this time where it has led a privileged life and only been driven for fewer than 5,000 gentle miles since restoration.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
