I found and bought this wonderfull Jaguar E -Type Series 1, because my car was completely destroyed by fire during a visit to "Lagao di Como" in Italy during late May 2009. We came down from St. Moritz via the "Passo de Bernina" when the car began to burn from the right rear side. Durings some 10 minutes the car burnt completely down (as one can see at xke.data 880039.
The good news I found this wonderfll car.
And the other: the car will be restored during the next 2 years.
I´ll try to report from this action..
And the other news: It is foreseen to restore

The car runs still perfect.
In 2010 we did a trip to Italy ´s Toscana and had some days at the "Nürburgring" during the famous "Eifel-Race".
In 2011 we repeated the trip to Italy and spent some days at "Spa-Francorchamp"in Belgium during the "6-Hours Race",where also a meeting took place on behalf the "5o-Years E-Typpe".

Durimng the last years we did a lot of tours to Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Slowenia. Thees were journeys perfectly organised by the "Boxenstop" Museum, Germany. We do per years about 3.000 Miles. The car runs perfectly.
