Opening bid $15,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Ben Lomond, California. Complete VIN on this car is J62877217.

Sellers description:
My 62' Jaguar XKE roadster is in fair condition needs some work. Has a 289 ford engine and a mustang transmission. It has steering issues and needs new convertible top. Needs uplostry and floor mats. Has some rust on wire wheels, and needs new rubber frame seals. It is an old car but great potential. Bought is from a Lockheed employee that designed the conversion to ford 289 without modifying frame in 1975. 27k miles.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
