This is the second E Type I owned from 2002 until 2004 - the reg number is NSJ 602.
I bought this car from Eagle (Henry Pearman) and the previous owner was none other than Jim Davidson. It was completely standard but I had Henry and his Eaglets upgrade it to his Sport spec - it was fantastic, loud and very quick.
The car was featured on Top Gear in 2004 where it was compared to an original Aston Martin DB5 - the feature was to demonstrate the benefits of a 'properly' upgraded classic car compared to an original!! It performed admirably and produced a track time of 1.32.7 with the hood down - same than a V6 Audi TT....now that's progress.
I sold the car shortly afterwards and it remained with the next owner for a period before being sold again where it now resides in South Africa.
I have added lots of photos from when I owned it.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
