This 1962 Jaguar XKE is a Series I roadster powered by a replacement 4.2-liter inline-six and is said to have had long-term registration in California through the current owner’s acquisition in 2016. The car is finished in red with a black soft top over replacement black leather upholstery. Additional equipment includes triple SU carburetors, a four-speed manual transmission, a louvered hood, an AM/FM stereo, a black boot cover, glass headlight covers, four-wheel disc brakes, and knock-off 15″ wire wheels. The bodywork is finished in red, and exterior details include a black soft top and boot cover, a louvered hood, glass headlight covers, and twin central exhaust outlets. The soft top is believed to have been replaced. The trunk lid does not sit flush on the driver’s side, and various paint chips and scuffs are noted by the selling dealer.
