I bought the car in a near abandoned state for $1,000 in the Spring of 1980. The car was tendered to an attorney in lieu of cash on a legal fee due. The car had thoroughly rusted. It had been vandalized with every glass broken save for one headlight cover and the door windows. Even the glass on each instrument had been broken. The car sat for an estimated 10 years without windshield and with a torn hood. Restored bit by bit over the last 24 years with many periods of time off in-between. Body is all new Robey built on the original firewall.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
