Ebay item 2/5/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1961-Jaguar-E-Type/162887401458
Current bid US $20,200 reserve not met 16 bids 6 days left in auction, seller ca2014-addle, 41k miles.

Sellers description:
This 1961 Jaguar XKE Flat Floor Roadster Project was disassembled many years ago. Purchased off a long time owner, the car has not been through many hands. The car has had some primer applied to it, the rear lid is still on the car along with the doors which have nice gaps and seem to fit nice. At some point ago, the previous owner purchased another bonnet which is fibreglass which I still have. I also have two extra rear ends as well. As far as parts which are not on the car:

- Five Doorhandles
- Four Window Cranks
- Both Front & Rear Chrome Pieces
- Headlight Chrome Pieces
- Four Wheel Centre Caps
- Radio
- Wire Wheel
- Gas Tank
- Both Front Seats
- Convertible Top With Frame
- Second Dash (Not Aluminium, as it is for a later XKE)
- Also 5 More gauges from the 1961 not on the car.
- Exhaust Pieces
- Tail Light Pieces & Headlight Pieces
- Box of Screws & Nuts & Bolts
- One Wiper
-Alternator/Generator
- Headlight Glazings
- Convertible Top Chrome Pieces
All of the parts that are suppose to have "Lucas Made in England" have it .... even the wiper)

This car is Very Original. The original steering wheel is in excellent condition. The original Windshield and windows are basically scratch-free in excellent shape. The car was running last fall, just a few months ago. I am awaiting for someone to come get it running again. Once the car is running , I will be less hesitant to accept anything but my selling price.
Currently, the car rolls, steers, brakes, and the transmission shifts the way it sits. What the car truly needs Is a new owner to realize that these Series 1 Jaguar's just don't come around anymore. It's not A Porsche 356, it's a Series 1 Jaguar XKE, these cars have been so desirable since the very beginning.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
