Here is a rare opportunity to buy a one owner 1962 Jaguar E-Type XKE "Flat Floor" roadster. This car was purchased new in 1962 by an local car enthusiast. He flew to England, picked out the car and had it transported back to Chicago. Until recently the car had been in the same location for 58 years! This early production E-type features the flat floors which was only done on 631 series 1 XKE models. Maintaining it's original 3.8 liter 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission. This car has just under 44,000 original miles from new. The car has it's original red paint, but it has had some areas of repaint. The interior looks to be all original and is well maintained. Car includes the tool kit. This is a true piece of automotive history and a rare opportunity to purchase a great British sports car. Sells with a clear title.
