Description:
General information about the vehicle: In this auction there is now the opportunity to purchase a Jaguar E-Type from 1961, which is an import from Switzerland and has only 3 vehicle owners. This example is an exceptionally well-restored vehicle that has even won the prestigious Concours d'Elegance. Matching numbers are complete for this "Flatfloor Roadster", TÜV or an H-approval are not yet available. It is also worth mentioning that this E-Type is registered in the FIVA. Exterior colour/paint/body: The body of this Jaguar E-Type shines in the color grey-blue - it was completely repainted as part of the restoration measures and is of impeccable quality. According to the seller, no defects can be identified in the paintwork and all the chrome trim on the Jaguar is in perfect condition. The British roadster's soft top, which has been preserved without cracks, is dark blue. In order to fully convince yourself of the very good visual condition of this E-Type, we recommend looking through the meaningful series of pictures of the vehicle. Exterior rims/brakes/chassis: The seller states the condition of the tires and brakes as new - large brakes were used during the restoration. The original Jaguar chrome wire wheels are used for the enhanced visual appearance of the vehicle. In the area of the chassis, the meticulousness with which the high-quality restoration was carried out can be clearly seen. Interior: The restoration work, which was carried out with great care, also extended to the interior of this Jaguar E-Type Flatfloor Roadster from first registration in 1961: the seats are covered with beige leather and a lot of beige leather can also be found throughout the entire interior. The perforated three-spoke wooden steering wheel is just as convincing as the many flawlessly found filigree levers and switches on the dashboard. An original contemporary radio is also part of the equipment of this Jaguar as well as a dark blue tarpaulin. The function/folding mechanism of the convertible top works perfectly and the unlocking and locking of the convertible top is easy to handle. For a detailed overview of the interior, we refer to the other photos. Mileage: Smiths instruments grace the cockpit of this Jaguar E-Type - the 5-digit speedometer reads 44,160 mileage. According to the seller, the mileage is traceable and all instruments and displays in the interior work perfectly.
