I purchased 875014 from the original owner in June of 1972. Have been it's keeper ever since. It's been fun!

It may be a "scruffy driver" to some folks but I still love it!

Its "perfect " in my mind...keep driving and enjoying........too many of these cars are ending up in a recycling pool of dealers.....

Have had my e-type and healey for 20 combined years now......

I can only agree!

There are so many characterless restored cars out there and only very few "originals" remaining. And what is a vintage car without a visible, smellable, feelable history on it self?

IMHO much nicer, much more desirable than most of the others. And thus also more valuable for me. Comparable to 850026 - I love this car, which I saw and photographed in 2011 in Silverstone...

Fingers crossed the car will run forever and never in need of a full restoration! Congrats for such a car

One addition: I bought the Hemmings Sports & Exotics Jan 2015 issue second hand only because of the article on this car with postage costs exceeding the price of the mag when new

DOC and Stefan:

Thanks for the kind words! Have had 875014 for such a long time now, it is truly part of the fabric of our family. We all enjoy it so much and are looking forward to poking it's nose out of the garage as soon as the weather permits. All the best to both of you...

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
