My son is looking for information on this recently bought interesting car ( registered 858 MY) fitted with several period competition modifications. It was bought from a nephew of Frederick Marsden who had owned it from around 1973.
On looking at Philip Porters book 'Jaguar E-type The Definitive History' (1st edition) there is a photograph of it (page 393) racing along side John Cuff and Charles Bridges. Does anybody know who was driving 858 MY that day ?

Heritage Certificate states the first owner as being R M G Cornish, Cawley, Middlesex.
