The Jaguar 'E' Type was a sensation when it was launched in 1961 and the early ones were extremely difficult to get hold of. Very good cars are still as difficult to get hold of which is why we feel this will be keenly contested at today's sale.
This is an original right hand drive fixed head coupe which dates from 1963 and was first supplied new at Archibald's Garage Ltd at Christgate Church in New Zealand. It is in excellent condition throughout and still retains its original interior trim, steering wheel, the Lucas PL headlights and the original braking system.
This then is an exceptionally original car in very good condition throughout and has an odometer reading of 73000 miles which is believed to be genuine from new.
A really good genuine car.
