Restoration aiming to be finished early 2016

860927 was completed in early June 2017 and has returned to her rightful place on the road. Restoration detailed in the E-Type magazine Issue #154 - September 2017. The car is a fantastic example of an early FHC with many original features (e.g. the original rear hatch with the body number chalked on or the cross pattern dash) and will be enjoyed where possible.

860927 appears on the July 2020 (#188) edition of “The E-type” - photograph caption from the magazine reads “Not a view you often get of an E-type! Derbyshire a Representative Richard took this picture in the Peak District last summer using a drone”

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
