1963 Jaguar E-Type Series I 3.8 FHC

Purchased by the 82 year old vendor in 1984 in a package deal with an Aston Martin DB4 for the princely sum of £6,000. Offered in need of straightforward restoration, the car is in running, driving condition and is in possession of a valid MoT certificate until December 2016. Chassis number 860808 and engine number R6998-9. Both numbers tie in with information supplied by Hpi and are clearly visible although the original aluminium build plate has long disappeared.
Estimate: £30,000 - 40,000

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
