The white car appears on BAT, be cautious about the identity of this car. Note that the blue car was taxed in the UK through 2018.

This 1962 Jaguar XKE is a right-hand-drive Series I coupe that was sold new in England and, according to the seller, was imported to the US sometime prior to 1992 by a previous owner. The seller purchased the car in 2015 as a partially completed project that had already been refinished in white with blue stripes, and subsequent work has included installing a rebuilt 3.8-liter inline-six paired with a later rebuilt four-speed synchromesh manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. Additional equipment includes a fiberglass bonnet, D-Type-style taillights, a welded roll cage, four-wheel disc brakes, a later XJ6 ported cylinder head, Isky camshafts, and three replacement Weber 45 DCOE carburetors. This XKE coupe is now offered as a non-running project in Reading, Pennsylvania, with a fixed-back racing seat, a fabricated aluminum fuel cell, its removed side and rear glass, build photos and records, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, miscellaneous loose parts, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name. The car’s data plate is not present.
