    Ebay item 8/22/16
    www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Coupe-1962-Series-1-Restoration-Project-/142089 ...
Current bid £21,000 no reserve, 3 bids 5 days left in auction.

    Auction description:
Technical data taken from the V5 is as follows:

    Registration: 7584 PE
    Colour: Grey
    Vin/Chassis/Frame number: 860616
    Date of Registration: 29.06.1962
    Cylinder capacity:3781 CC
No of former keeper: 1 since Nov 77
    Date of purchase:11.1981
    Engine Number: R.5706-9

    Our purchase history
The car was purchased in 1981 by my father with the idea of restoring (respraying) at a later date. Other project came along and as a result it has remained untouched since. It has been stored outside with a heavy duty tarpaulin completely covering the car. Due to my father's ill health we're now looking to sell the car rather than restore.

The vehicle has remained untouched for 35 years and kept covered outside.

The vehicle is being sold via an ebay auction for 10 days. There is no buy it now and no reserve.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
