This interesting aluminium D-Type replica was purchased at a UK auction in 2014. Constructed by the late Brian Wilkinson of Zealia Engineering, with the tub and bodywork crafted by Chris Jones. It is understood that the bonnet and screen are by Lynx. This project has been stored since purchase and viewing is highly recommended, with numerous parts offered with the car. With so many replicas made from fibreglass, this aluminium bodied example has the potential to be a highly rewarding project for the enthusiast.
