I rebuilt the car over 2000 to 2003. It now sports full race 3.8 litre engine Dry Sumped with triple webers. Body is exact copy of 63 lightweight with Alloy Bonnet, Roof, Doors and Boot Lid. Wheels are peg drive alloys.

Very interesting that two semi-lighweight UK competition cars should be entered on to the data-base on the same day! This car carries the exact specifications that will shortly be incorporated in 888401. I would appreciate an e-mail from John Parker to swap notes.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
