We are very pleased to offer '8888 WK' once again - now far better than ever!
This was already a well known and authentic example - superbly built and very exciting. It incorporated genuine lightweight factory parts and aluminium panels but we have now completed a comprehensive and compromise free 1050 hour rebuild to cosmetically and mechanically refresh the car. We have created - perhaps - the ultimate for long distance classic touring events - as well as a perfectly docile, usable and enjoyable road going Jaguar E-type with added excitement.
The very best and latest Eagle enhancements have been included during the course of the rebuild and the result is quite simply one of the most desirable Lightweight E-Types to be built.
The new and latest specification ensures reliability, safety and performance.
This specification, including the ultimate suspension geometry alterations, has been kept within the FIA parameters excepting the front brakes and minor details which are easily changed to comply if required.
It is currently left hand drive, for Continental or USA use, but can easily be converted to right hand drive, if desired.
Specification:
Aluminium panels including bonnet, doors and vented hardtop and bootlid.
Fresh Eagle Sport specification engine including composite gasket and baffled sump.
Oil cooler package.
Electronic ignition and performance high tension leads.
Rebuilt close ratio gearbox and new "stage 2" clutch.
Weber carburettors, ITG filter, long distance fuel tank with Monza cap.
Twin cockpit switchable fuel pumps.
Uprated engine frames.
Eagle SuperSport suspension geometry modification including polyurethane bushings.
Ultimate adjustable high tech suspension damper units.
GT spring, torsion bar and anti roll bar rates.
Uprated axle location with special bushings and further geometry improvements.
High ratio steering rack and billet mounts.
Genuine original LWE peg drive wheels, fitted with new Dunlop 'L' section tyres and 3 eared spinners.
FIA specification tubular manifolds and stainless steel exhaust system.
Aluminium radiator and header tank.
High power cooling fan and silicone hoses.
Heated windscreen.
Alternator conversion.
Uprated brakes, including twin servo conversion, stainless hoses and mechanical brake light switch.
Race harnesses, fire extinguisher, authentic lightweight style leather trimmed aluminium seats.
High power halogen headlamps.
Uprated windscreen wiper motor and high power washers.
Heavy duty battery and isolator switch with all new wiring looms.
