This car is the 122nd open two seater off the Jaguar production line in late 1961, one of 942 of its type built from 1961-1964. With the flat-bottom floor and 3.8 litre engine with triple SU carb's, this model is the most desirable of all E-Type Jaguars and it drives superbly, is tight and rattle free. It is an original right hand drive model, of all models made there was just 15% made in right hand drive.
It has just had the rear crankshaft seal replaced and carb's overhauled and is in top mechanical order. The body is in excellent condition as the photo's show you as is the hood and the interior is also in excellent condition.
Restored in the early 1990's in the UK it has been done to an exceptional level. This car was purchased from the UK in October 1994 and delivered to our car collection in Auckland early 1995. Having never been registered here in New Zealand it would need to be vinned and registered or for UK buyers we have the last V5 document supplied with the car.
