This car was advertised by Mill Lane Engineering of Surrey, England in the June 1986 issue of Thoroughbred and Classic Cars, where it was stated that it was "repainted in original Carmen red to Concourse standard, retrimmed in best quality black hide and fitted with black mohair hood.' Photographs were taken of the restoration process. It was advertised again in the November issue, and again in the June 1989 issue,

850033 was the first rhd roadster delivered to Ireland and dispatched to Jaguar dealer Victor Ltd in Belfast on July 14th 1961 and registered 5104 DZ. It was also one of the famous 56 dealer demonstrator roadsters photographed outside Browns Lane in July 1961. In the mid 70s it was bought by Bill Keddie as a 'garage find' in Belfast for £325. Bill restored it to 'the standards of the time', moved to Kirkcaldy, Fife and sold it around 1984. Bill can fill in its history from 1968 when it was laid up to when he sold it. The current owner of 850033 can contact Bill on willkeddie@blueyonder.co.uk for more details
