Sellers description:
1971 xke coupe 6 cylinder, last year made, there were not many made in the final year of the real xke, I bought this jag in dry climate sunny California, the last owner had it over 15 years . This car is very pretty in a metallic blue green paint , the original color was silver grey, they did not repaint the frame cages so it will be easy to return to silver but it sure looks great in this color, it has no rust, the floors and trunk are excellent, there is no evidence of any previous damage, all the chrome is excellent and the color shows it off , the car only shows 76000 miles and it appears actual, the speedo needle has fallen off but the odo works, the car is basically all original except the paint, it has a super smooth and quiet motor , the trans shifts great, the brakes are working but the right front caliper is sticking, the fans and lights all seem to work properly , the car rides nice but does have a clunk when you hit a bump possibly sway bar bushings, the exhaust is factory and sounds great, the original interior is very nice but the seat bottoms are worn and cracked so you could replace them, all the little trim pieces are on the car or with it, the choke knob is in the glove box and so are the driver door panel chromes , the wire wheels are very nice , the car is in really good condition and is not restored so it has led a fairly charmed life .cosmetically It needs a new driver door panel cardboard, and mechanically some brake work so I would not drive it home. It starts right up and runs nice.

Current bid: $20,000 reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction now said to be in Schooleys Mountain, New Jersey, 70k miles seller schooleys38.
Seller's description:
Car came to me from a long time California owner with a recent decent quality repaint (green but NOT British racing green),very solid body no rust in the usual spots, great running engine, matching numbers, and said to be a good driver with just a couple of minor issues. Well three years later I have had repaired /replaced seemingly everything else, as follows. Virtually all the work was completed by recognized Jaguar and classic car experts Lippincott's Garage and K&T Vintage. Recent work; new clutch, rebuilt 4 sp trans, ALL new engine and trans mounts, recored radiator, stainless exhaust, front and rear brake calipers and flex lines, overhauled differential and rear end. Not so good: -chrome and glass are generally very good but rear window glass has some deep scratches, -right side door to bonnet seam is rather broad, both shops verified that the frame is straight and the driver side seam is right, so probably not worth trying to correct. Car is very much original, the biggest change is the modern RetroAir air conditioner I had installed, original components included with purchase.
