This Jaguar is in very neat and original condition (the interior, engine and gearbox are all original). The vehicle starts easily, shifts smoothly and powerfully through the gears, idles nicely and brakes properly. It has beautiful wire wheels, new whitewall tyres, nice chrome and Primrose Yellow paintwork in excellent condition. The interior is tidy and has its original leather trim. The previous owner always stored the car indoors as can be seen from how it looks. A new soft top was fitted in December 2020. The car is fitted with Zenith carburettors and has disc brakes on all wheels. This Jaguar has its original matching numbers engine. A direct import from the USA, it has United States title, VAT and European import duties have been paid. These convertibles are increasingly rising in value, even more so one in such neat and original condition.

Car now offered at:
www.classic-trader.com/fr/voitures/annonce/jaguar/type-e/e-type/1971/261077
Seller's description:
The yellow E-Type was registered in America in July 1971 and has always led a quiet existence in the land of opportunity. The vehicle was then purchased by the current owner at an auction and imported to Germany.
Technically, the E-Type is in good shape, has matching numbers and is in authentic condition. The engine was recently adjusted, with its 4.2 liter capacity, the six-cylinder in-line delivers almost 210 hp. In addition, the following work was carried out:
Underbody ice blasted and resealed
Rear axle/front axle and brake system completely overhauled
All cooling/heating hoses renewed
Renewal of the ignition system
Instruments, speedometer and tachometer overhauled and converted to km/h
Tachometer adapted to new ignition system
All new tires
CONCLUSION
This E-Type belongs back on the road. The convertible is optically and technically in good condition and is immediately ready for the next trip!
