Ebay item 4/11/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-/182088641263
Current bid US $6,766 reserve not met 7 bids 6 days left in auction. Seller mowog27, 56k miles.
Sellers description:
This highly desirable, last of the 4.2 series two roadsters left the factory on 8/70 in its original color of opalescent silver with dark blue interior. This car # 2R13840 has matching engine # 7R11601-9, which is not stuck, but turns hard. The odometer reads 56.899 miles, and I have a clear Maryland title. The car is 99% complete, missing headlight eyebrows and convertible top frame mounts. There are five new tires on decent wire wheels, good glass and operating windows. Although this OTS has sat in my heated garage for the last thirty years, it will need complete restoration including floors, sills and trunk floor. Note: the marks on the right quarter panel are marks from a bicycle, not rust. The car steers and rolls well, and is fully assembled, including interior, as seen in the first group of pictures.
