This was a 1970 ser2 roadster until it was in a shed fire - the car is very badly damaged but i was thinking of turning it into a track /rally car - aero screen BMW 328 rear suspension and steering etc but 2 years later nothing has been done so someone else can try it has lots of badly scorched parts and engine and gearbox both of which are realy badly affected by heat (even 1 cam cover is partly melted) this would be a huge job but with the right approach it could be done and turned into a sensational vehicle the car can be viewed at StAlbans NSW (near Wisemans Ferry ) by prior arrangement pick up only

Comments: History of car as follows - bought by me in Hawaii about 10 years ago - total restoration and converted to r/h drive about 7 years ago and used for Jag club events - on club plates -NSW and yes it did get very hot ( but not quite as hot as my 2 , 420 Jags - it will be a huge amount of work - but could be made into something special with imagination , money and effort --- Ken

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
