    Model E-Type V12 Roadster

Manufactured in October 1973, this Series III E-Type roadster has covered an unbelievably low 2,500 miles from new- having been cared for and caressed by its current custodian since 1990. At this time the car was restored to an exceptional standard ( costing in excess of 50,000 GBP then!) . It comes with a large history file and a total breakdown with the restoration along with a variety of bills, MoT's and receipts to substantiate the mileage.

Finished in iconic primrose, over chocolate bean interior this has to be one of the lowest mileage V12 roadsters to be offered on the open market.

Manufactured in October 1973, this Series III E-Type has covered an unbelievably low 2,500 miles from new- having been cared for and caressed by its current custodian since 1990. At this time the car was restored to an exceptional standard ( costing in excess of 100,000 GBP then by English Cars of Distinction) The car was uprated to the high specification presented today, which included Connolly leather throughout with matching bound carpets and burr walnut veneer dashboard. The steering and suspension system was also uprated with all components Zinc plated or powder coated. Brakes were uprated to vented discs and chrome wire wheels. The engine was also enhanced with a 90×70 bore and stroke firing from 4 strombergs and producing 272bhp mated to a 5 speed gearbox. The result is a sensation.

Finished in iconic primrose, over chocolate bean interior and having covered just 2,500 miles this has to be one of the lowest mileage V12 roadsters to be offered on the open market.

For sale at Vintage and Prestige Fine Motorcars of Northampton for £110,000. Amended seller's description below.

    www.vandp.net/sales/2144/1973-jaguar-e-type-v12-convertible-rhd-manual-ots/

This V12 Roadster was the subject of a massive nut and bolt photographic restoration some years ago and has since covered a scant 2,600 miles. The restoration was commissioned without regard for expense with the brief to make the car as modern day useable as possible. Since then it has been very little used residing in a heated garage with very occasional outings. The specification for the build was comprehensive including upgraded suspension, brakes and a 5 speed manual gearbox making the car a very relaxed drive at high continental speeds. Everything else was totally rebuilt at massive expense.

The car is finished in flawless Primrose yellow and a new convertible mohair hood. To the interior is chocolate brown leather piped in beige along with beige carpets. A full burr walnut dash has been installed along with a Moto Lita steering wheel and period looking radio. The car sits on 4 chrome wire wheels and knock off hubs. The tuned V12 engine is absolutely flawless in operation and is turbine smooth providing serious performance. The car is immaculate under the bonnet. If you are looking for a car greatly improved from the original then this one is well worth a look.
