    Sellers description:
Black Horse Garage offers you this fantastic example of a 2+2 XKE Coupe in perfect British Racing Green paint over biscuit upholstery and desirable chrome wire wheels. This car is well known by us, having a meticulous previous owner who took exceptional care of it. It has undergone a recent major mechanical service by our skilled technicians. A complete valve job, engine cleaning and reseal were performed as well as a new A/C compressor and cooling system upgrade. Many new parts such as exhaust manifolds were fitted during this service. This is as clean an example one can find in such usable condition. It is ready for use for spring and summer touring or to pack the family in for a drive to your favorite park in the country. We at Black Horse are confident that this is one of the best examples of an XKE Coupe around.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
