Ebay item 1/26/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-E-type-1973-Jaguar-XKE-E-Type-S3-Coupe ...
Car has a buy it now price of $24,500 for 6 days.
Sellers description:
V12 engine, automatic transmission, wire wheels (spare too) with lots of updates listed below all of which makes this car one very nice driver. The car was purchased from its second owner in May of '09. In the short amount of time that I've owned it I've really enjoyed working on it and one payback has been driving it every weekend possible. Engine starts every time even at 20F degrees, the car handles well and accelerates strong, great for driving the twisty country roads of North Jersey.
Like most V12's the centrifugal advance was frozen so the distributor was rebuilt and changed to a vacuum advance from a vacuum retard setup. New front brakes and front end work keeps it true on stops. A considerable amount of work was done to the interior as included in the list below. Heater box was rebuilt and the A/C was converted to R134 although the refrigerant leaked out after one season.
It's not Concourse but the car looks and drives great, I've got a load of pictures but if there is a view you want to see I encourage you to come and see for yourself. If you are not local email me to review.

Q: Hi....any rust, on the body, Frame, Suspension, Floor Boards, Pillars (in or out) Kevin Jan-27-10
A: The front right jack point is weakened by rust it but does not appear to be through, the other 3 points are solid. The footwells are solid. There is a rusted-through spot approx 3"x1" in the spare tire well, evidence of a past fuel leak from the filter/pump, this is on the bottom sheet metal not the side panel. There are two minor surface spots which can be seen in the pictures of the car in my driveway; right rear above the tire and left rear in front of the tire, they are bubble-ups under the paint. Yes the car has been repainted (by the previous owner). There is a similar condition at the back bottom of the headlight well which can be seen if you remove the headlight ring. No rust that I can see on the frame or suspension. Although I have never removed them for complete examination the radius arm mount points appear to be solid as well. Anything I've mentioned is extremely minor and does not take away from the car being solid, drivable and extremely presentable.
