53500 MILES, ON EBAY 06/07, SELLER WRITES: You are bidding on a very nice low mile12 cylinder 4 speed XKE coupe, the low mileage is believed to be original based on condition and discussions with prior owner and the odometer. It has no rust and has been a west coast car all of its life, It is in outstanding condition and it has a fresh tune, new clutch ,brakes and weatherstripping, and front end bushing and rubber. the rust free body, paint and interior are excellent, this is a very fast car the holds the road as good as it looks. Tires and wheels are in great conditon. this should be an excellent investment and a lot of fun to own and drive, This Jag can be driven across country without problems in my opinion. Does not overheat and runs super. If you need more info or want to view and drive this nice Jag. please email Bill at whf2929@aol.com or call me at 541 772 9545 In rust free Medford, Oregon on I 5 just north of the California border. 541 772 9545

53,500 miles, on ebay 05/08, seller writes: 1972 Jaguar XKE E-Type Coupe, British Racing Green. 53500 miles 12 cylinder, 4 speed transmission This is a very nice, rust free (west coast) automobile with low original miles that has been maintained and restored to a high standard. It runs and drives as good as it looks and is very reliable. This car stops traffic, and draws a crowd where ever it is seen. It is owned by a mature collector / enthusiast. The car was previously owned by a collector on the west coast of the US in Oregon, just north of the California border. This car has been a west coast car for all of it’s life until I purchased it in 2007. I shipped it enclosed trailer to the new England area where it has never seen rain or snow. The car has a clean Massachusetts title. MECHANICALS: Engine runs smooth and strong. Professionally done engine compression check in 2007 test showed all cylinders 125-135 pounds. Transmission shifts smooth, suspension rides smooth, steering is smooth and tight. In 2006 Engine was removed to replace the original clutch and radiator, and all hoses were replaced, Brakes were done, and the car tuned. Valves professionally adjusted in 2007, and car gone over with a fine tooth comb by vintage Jag specialist. All gauges work, and oil pressure is steady at over 75lbs! Cooling system is perfect, the car does not overheat in the hottest weather Brakes work perfectly and she stops in a straight line with no squeaks or squeals. Exhaust is tight and makes sweet 12 cylinder sounds. BODY and INTERIOR: The car has been inspected professionally for rust in all the areas of concearn including battery box, frame members, rockers, trunk floor pans, door bottoms, etc. and none is evident. The deep green paint shines to a deep luster, and has recently been buffed and waxed with Griots Best of Show Carnuba wax. The paint on this car is very, very nice!! There are no significant body or paint defects of any kind. There are only several very small paint chips evident anywhere. Chrome is complete and in nice shape. The Dunlop tires appear have to at least 80% tread on them. The dash has no cracks and is in excellent shape. Leather seats are very comfortable and original and in good shape but do show some wear. The headliner is flawless. Most of the body and door rubbers have been replaced
