Beautiful example of an early XKE Coupe with the more desirable Manual transmission. The car is totally rust free with its original floors and sills in tact...I cannot find any evidence of any repair from either rust or collision. The paint is in beautiful condition and with the exception of some very minor flaws presents itself very well..The fit and finish on the car is excellent...all door gaps hood alignment etc are excellent....The chrome is free from any pitts or rust and shines very nicely....glass is free from any cracks or clouding....The car has it's original red leather interior and it is in very nice condition...The headrests would benefit from restuffing and the carpets in the front are a little worn....the dash and the instruments are in excellent condition...The car has an aftermarket radio fitted and it does not fit quite correctly.

The car has had a sunroof fitted sometime in its life...This is a steel sliding roof as you would find in a modern XJ6 or similar...it works great and does not leak....A very nice feature on a car like this as I have never seen one with it..

The mechanics of the car are excellent....I have brought the car to a local Jaguar specialist and had them go through the car ...They performed a compression test and the numbers are as follows..A 1 140 ,A2 150, A3 150, A4 150, A5 135, A6 150....B1 140, B2 150, B3 150, B4 150 , B5 135 , B6 150....One coud not ask for better....The engine starts without falter and the oil pressure is excellent....60lbs at start up and idles hot at 40 lbs....The previous owner told me that he had the engine rebuilt at 75,000 miles...The transmission is also excellent..The clutch holds well with no slippage and the syncros are all in good condition...Rear end is also without issue .....Rear brakes are all fully functional as is the handbrake....Electrically everything works fine...all the lights, horn, radio, electric antenna, etc are all fully functional.

The car is ready to use..you can buy it and drive it....I have driven the car for the last few days and it drives great...There is loads of power from the V12 engine...I would have no hesitation in taking the car on a long trip.
