Ebay item 7/8/09
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-Collectable-Classic-Jaguar-XKE-coupe-V ...
Opening bid $11,800 reserve not met, no bids yet 4 days left in auction. 54k miles.
Sellers description:
1972 Jaguar XKE Coupe. The exterior is moroon and the interior is tan leather. It is powered with the smooth and powerful V12 motor with the desireable but hard to find standard transmission. It has the original factory AC that works as well as the original wire crome knock-off wheels. It is a southern car that has an entirely rust free body that is in excellent original unrestored condition. I bought the car from the original owner who was a friend of mine in 1982 while living in Knoxville, Tennessee. The car was originally purchased from the Knoxville Jaguar dealer. At the time of the purchase I did not have an immediate use for the car but I did not want to pass up an opportunity of a life time to own a Jaguar.
In 1991 I had the car professionally painted maroon which included under the bonnent, the firewall, the door and hatch jams. The original color was green but I personally prefer the maroon. The car has never been involved in any accidents nor had any rust therefore the entire body, all crome and glass are the original and in good condition. Mechanically the car is equally original including motor, transmission, drivetrain, and all pereferial mechanical items are in good condition. The exterior paint and body look very good with two very minor imperfections neither larger than 2&1/2 inches in diameter and both occured at the same time, while the car was in storage and something fell. The interior is original and without any rips, tears, or cracks and does not show any signs of wear.
The car has been used very little since I have owned it but it has always been stored in a heated building. This spring all of the fluids were changed and the car is ready to go. I would like to hang onto the car but in all of the years I have owned it, I have not used nor enjoyed it as an enthusis should, therefore I have decided to give someone else an opportunity to enjoy.

Current bid: $8,800 reserve not met 7 bids, 9 days left in auction, seller user581, 59k miles car now said to be in Gaylordsville, Connecticut.
Seller's description:
1973 Jaguar XKE E-type Series 3 Coupe Burgundy with Tan interior 59,000 miles. Wire wheels, factory tool kit+Jack, owners manual. Service history. Stainless steel exhaust, radiator upgraded for better cooling. AC blows cold. Car was longingly cared for. Jaguar Factory Heritage Certificate, numbers matching. Car was originally willow green but was given a very high quality repaint in Burgundy. The car is absolutely stunning in person. The paint shines very nicely and the car is mesmerizing to look at! Interior shows extremely nicely. There is about 4 lines of cracks in the paint over the rear passenger side wheel arch, and there is a crack in the paint where the drivers roof meets the quarter panel, other than these minor flaws, this is probably one of the nicer examples of a Jaguar XKE V-12 Manual Transmission Series 3 Coupe that you are going to find.
