This 1972 Jaguar E-Type Series III coupe is numbers matching, well maintained and shows in very good condition mechanically and cosmetically.
The 5.3-liter V12 engine is clean and very nicely detailed with correct finishes, decals and hardware.
Professional restoration includes engine-out service of pistons, valves, rebuilt carburetors, heater core, power steering rack, radiator, starter, alternator, water pump, steering rack, brake cylinder, front suspension, machined and resealed exhaust manifolds, powder coated frame rails and replating of all nuts and bolts. A new exhaust, ignition coil, electronic ignition, wheel bearings, ball joints, fuel tank, fuel pump, stainless steel fuel and brake lines, and all rubber hoses, mounts, bushings, clamps, seals and grommets are new and professionally installed.
The end to end chrome re-plating is enhanced by the upgraded Wilwood front calipers, front and back Koni shocks, powerful cooling fans, easy spin off oil filter adapter, and shiny new Dayton chrome wire wheels with Series II style, two ear knock-offs.The newly painted blue exterior and new rubberized undercoating is complemented by original dark blue upholstery.
The gauges are original and in good working condition, including the original Kienzle clock.
