European Motor Studio is proud to offer this absolutely stunning and exceptional Willow Green on Black Connolly leather 1971 Jaguar XKE Series III V12 Coupe. This XKE left the Coventry Browns Lane factory in January of 1971 and is one of the very early Series III cars. The car was invoiced to Jaguar North America and sent to Sutherland-Marlow INC in Spokane Washington. The car sold to its first owner and lived in Washington until heading to Montana with its second owner where it lived until coming to AZ with its 3rd owner in the early 2000's. The car is well documented with service history dating back to the 90's and has seen the utmost care and correct maintenance since new. This XKE is finished in a stunning shade of Willow Green and is completely original in every way. The car has never been re painted or touched, except for a couple small stone chips in the front nose which have been touched up the paint looks beautiful for its age. One small scrape underneath the back left chrome bumper otherwise the paint still shows incredibly well. The gorgeous body is 100% straight and rust and damage free. The chrome is all original and in stunning shape, free from any pitting or hazing. The windshield rubber and bumper rubbers look to be original and do show some cracking but are still in good shape. All of the light lenses look excellent; the glass is all original and completely clear and free from any pitting or cracks. The interior is still finished in its original black Connolly leather and looks beautiful. The front seats show very little wear and still feel nice and supple. The carpets are the original Wilton brand and still in exceptional condition. The floor mats are the original mats specifically made for the V12 and look exceptional. The dashboard looks beautiful and is all original, the chrome and the switchgear are all original and still in fantastic condition. All of the gauges and electronics are in working condition, all of the lights are working, the turn signals, the side marker lights, brake lights, headlights, reverse lights, interior lights, and all of the dash lights are all in working order. The wiring harness has just been sorted and many different wires have been replaced, the choke cable and light are new, all of the exterior lights have just been re wired and are working correctly. This XKE's glorious 5.3 litre V-12 starts right up and once warmed up the car runs and drives incredible. The V12 has incredibly smooth acceleration and a glorious rumble out of the quad exhaust tips. The engine has just been recently tuned up and serviced by a reputable Jaguar repair shop here in Phoenix. The transmission shifts very smoothly, goes into gear with ease, and free from any grinding or clunking. The brakes are in excellent condition, the brake booster, brake lines, and rear brake pads have been replaced. The steering in so precise and tight, the car does not shimmy or drift. The sway bar rubber bushings have just been replaced, as well as an alignment and the handling is outstanding on this car. The suspension is very tight and free from any unusual noises or thumping. The car is extremely tight and smooth, and at 70mph down the freeway everything feels so dialed in and correct. This E-Type comes with its original owners manual and warranty book. Two sets of original Jaguar keys, original Blaupunkt radio and original spare tire. There is also a fairly extensive service file on the car dating back to the 90's. The body and undercarriage is completely rot and rust free and have never been touched. The original steel wheels are in beautiful condition and free from any curb rash or markings and covered in a brand new set of 4 Dunlop Sport tires.
