Sellers description:
This 1971 2+2 is one of the first V-12 built. The Vin is 1S70040BW. On the XKE data list there only 6 other cars registered before this car. The engine has the 9-1 compression ratio and has the desirable small bumpers. The cam covers have Jaguar casted in them. Of course this is a fully matching number car. Now you want to know what happened to it. The fellow who owned it lived in Texas and started to have an affair, the wife found and torched the car to get back at him. Lesson to be learned! The car is ideal to convert into a roadster or you could bring to it's original state. The bonnet is in pretty decent shape and all the frame rails are good. The car steers and rolls fine for easy transportation. I have a clear Texas title for it.
