Additional information for above auction:
Offered here is a 1972 Browns Lane factory built S3 V12 E-Type, a righthand drive fixed head. The 55,063 miles displayed when entered for the sale is believed by the entrant to be the genuine total mileage for the 2+2 coupe, which also has the benefit of a Webasto sunroof, from new.
The condition of the underbonnet area is described as good, the curvaceous body panels and red paintwork in fair shape, the biscuit beige interior good, while 5.3-litre twelve-cylinder motor, three-speed automatic transmission and electrical equipment are reportedly in good order. This E Type has been well looked after for the last ten years claims the vendor.

For sale at Studio Cars of Preston. Described as a beautiful V12 E type finished in signal red with a beige interior. A genuine UK example having covered just 61,000 miles. The bodywork is very good and has undergone recent expert part restoration which includes the bonnet area, engine bay as well as replacement sills. The paintwork in the restored areas is superb and the remainder of the car is very good with only minimal surface paint imperfections to the lower rear wheel arch areas.
The interior is excellent with the benefit of a professional re-trim in Beige along with matching carpets which compliment the signal red coachwork. All the original switchgear and controls are present and everything works as Jaguar intended. The car also benefits from a period Webasto sunroof which is in good working order and in very good condition. Mechanically the car is very good. The V12 engine is beautifully presented and starts easily, settling into a steady idle with no overheating or running issues.
The car drives well with smooth gear changes from the automatic gearbox and ample power from the V12. The suspension has been completely overhauled. The history and documentation that accompany the car is vast and shows the maintenance and restoration this car has enjoyed over the years. There is a massive photographic record of previous along with reams of paperwork and invoices detailing its history along with a JDHT heritage certificate.
A very nice example of a low mileage, genuine RHD UK supplied car that presents beautifully and is ready to be enjoyed. New MOT supplied at sale. £38,995.
