Chassis Number 1551354BW
Engine Number 755175SA
Odometer reading 87,880 miles

Detailed history from new
Manual V12 with full Webasto sunroof
Uprated five speed gearbox
First registered on 20th November 1972 and presented in Signal Red with black leather trim, our vendor, a Jaguar Enthusiasts Club member who has owned the car since 2012, describes this example as an absolute joy to drive with a wonderful engine and uprated five speed gearbox. A fully detailed record of the car’s owners and history is supplied with the car which verifies the mileage and equates to under 2,000 miles a year and, although being used more sparingly since the mid 90’s, we are told the car has always been on the road. According to records the car was fully restored and the engine and gearbox rebuilt between 1992 and 1996 and since has been clearly well maintained with countless invoices from specialists Spellbound Cars in Farnham and, more recently, Winspeed Jaguar who cared for the car right up until August of this year. Described as a driver’s car, this example could benefit from some cosmetic uplift but otherwise the interior of the car is original and in very good order.
Supplied with a lovely history file and benefitting from a full length Webasto sunroof, this car is a perfect match for those wanting a practical, drivable E-Type that turns heads every bit as much as its £150,000 counterparts whilst boasting that glorious V12 engine and manual gearbox.
