We are always pleased to offer any model of the Jaguar range and the 'E'-Type comes towards the top of that list as we are sure it would with most of you.
Today's example is a 1972 V12 5343cc fixed head coupe with the more desirable manual four speed gearbox. It was with its previous owner for over ten years until we sold it in 1996 to its present owner who has continued to keep it garaged. The vendor believes the recorded mileage to be correct at 63000 miles from new and it is only for sale today because he wishes to change it for a convertible some time later on this year.
This is a wonderful example of this much loved British sports car which has a lovely straight body, a very good original leather interior, excellent chromework, a full Webasto sliding sun roof, chrome pressed wheels and various old MOT certificates, bills, receipts and other paperwork in the history file.
A lovely example which is simply ready to use and enjoy.
Please note: This car has had approximately ú5000 spent recently on all new hoses, axle and brakes and has driven to the sale from Dorset.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
