Car offered at:
www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1972-jaguar-e-type-22-auto/SSE-AD-6376326/

Seller's description:
This Australian delivered vehicle was ordered through British Leyland by a Melbourne surgeon for his personal use & was prepared, delivered & presented with many optional accessories & features.
When the surgeon was offered & subsequently accepted a senior medical position interstate, the vehicle was fully serviced and securely dry-stored for some time.
Upon his return to Melb in 1983, the car was presented for sale & purchased by the current owner who placed it on permanent display within his extensive & private collection. [The surgeon had by then purchased a Bentley Mulsanne.]
Under both fastidious owners, this immaculate vehicle continued with regular servicing [by the same mechanic for the past 37 years] maintaining it's superb original condition & averaging less than 850 km per year over the lifetime of the car.
With authentic low mileage and very limited use, this desirable & exceptional matching numbers vehicle is Concours prepared & has all the Manufacturers Issued Documents along with the Jaguar Heritage Certificate Confirmation.
Included is the Wallet, Owners Manual & Spare Parts Book, Service & Maintenance History, Brochures, etc. & the Complete & Original Tool Kit & Jack.
In addition, this vehicle is eligible for Historic Vehicle Registration offering a significantly reduced Insurance Premium along with approx 90% annual Registration Fee savings in Victoria [check other States.]
If sold for use in Vic this vehicle, currently on Club Plates, will be offered with the much desired & unique Vic No. Plate - V12E.
For interstate & overseas interest where this registration & number plate is not applicable, a discount will be provided.
This vehicle has been driven sparingly and invited to participate at various club and display events including the JCCV, RACV and several Melb GP F1 Cavalcade Car appearances.
Sir Stirling Moss, who has known the owner for many years, enthusiastically drove this car during his visit to Melb & subsequently signed & dated the steering wheel & console-box inner-lid during that visit.
Several other Jaguar aficionados and enthusiasts known to the owner, have also on different occasions, signed and endorsed this car including Norm Dewis [Jaguar Test Driver,] Ron Gaudion [Le Mans Jaguar D Type Mechanic,] Raymond Beach [Jaguar V12 Senior Motor Development Engineer,] Alan Jones MBE [F1 World Champion Driver,] Reg Hunt [Aust. Champion Driver.] Photographs of signing available for viewing.

Here is a moment to secure an iconic, impeccable and most desirable classic offering P/S, A/C, Heated Rear Window, New Tyres, Immobiliser, S/S Mufflers, Totally Rust and Accident Free History, Garaged & Never Driven in the Wet.
Every aspect of this stunning car has been thoroughly checked, tested & where required, replaced with genuine parts including all rubbers & hoses, along with the authentic wiring loom, to assure and eliminate any concerns.
The current owner has been a continual member of the JCCV since the 1960's & was appointed the initial Aust Rep for the UK based E Type Club, which now sports world-wide membership & was founded by renowned author, historian and Jaguar collector - Philip Porter.
By consultation, the successful purchaser will have the option to purchase a Comprehensive Collection of Books and many scarce & rare Factory Press, Publicity, Documents & Brochures, all specific to this model & collected over many years.
