Car returned to auction in '08
    www.classicauctions.co.uk/lotdetail.php

    Auction description:
    Lot : 83
    1971 Jaguar E-Type V12 Coupe
    Estimate: NOT SOLD
    Registration No: HEA 19K
    Chassis No: IS50401BW
    Engine No: 754152SA
    CC: 5343
    Colour: Pale Blue
    Trim Colour: Blue
    MOT: Sept 2008
Finished in Pale Blue with blue upholstery, this late entry Jaguar E-type V12 Coupe is variously described by the vendor as being in "excellent" (engine, bodywork), "A1" (automatic transmission), "all OK" (electrical equipment, wheels / tyres), "original / very good" (interior trim) or "unmarked" (paintwork) condition. While, he also believes but does not warrant the car to have covered some 75,000 miles from new. Apparently off the road between 1995 and 2003 (or so various accompanying MOT certificates would suggest), more recent work is said to have seen 'HEA 19K' treated to "a respray in its original colour". Eligible for historic class (free) road tax and understood to have had "five former keepers", this appealing E-type is offered for sale with "a Jaguar Heritage certificate, sixteen previous MOT certificates, assorted original bills" and current MOT certificate valid until September 2008.

I have just become the new owner of this car. I have bought it from Mr J Walker in Benfleet. I am quite scared about what other information I give due to the fact this car has recently been stolen. However I can provide proper information to show I am now the owner. Any further information about the car will be very much appreciated. I can be contacted on 01507 533760, most sincere regards Geoff.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
