70,917 MILES, ON EBAY 04/07, SELLER WRITES:
1974 Jaguar E Type roadster..in beautiful condition..ready just to use and enjoy. This car is an original 2 owner car that has covered just 70,000.The car is totally rust free and original..never any issues or repair due to colission or rust...all the body panels fit really well...doors open and close as new...same with the hood and trunk....The car has beed repainted and with the exception of some minor flaws presents itself very well.

The mechanicals of the car are in very good shape..the car starts right up and has excellent oil pressure..there are no overheating issues and the car drives as it should...transmission operates as it should..the clutch is fine and all syncros in the gearbox operate perfectly...the brakes including the handbrake operate as they should as does the electric system..the car is fitted with Air Conditionoing which is fully functional. The engine bay of the car is very nicely detailed

The interior of the car is in beautiful condition...the seats are in very nice condition with no excessive wear...carpets are very nice as is the dash and facia....The car is fitted with a very nice sound system with CD changer located in the trunk..The soft top is in excellent condition and is the more expensive one made from canvas rather than vinyl...the rear window on the top is also very nice..no cracking or fading..all the glass in is very nice condition as is the chrome...no pitts whatsoever.....the wire wheels are excellent and the tires are virtually new.

Overall this is an excellent example ...it has the more desirable 4 speed manual transmission with chrome wire wheels..The car was professionally appraised in May 2005 for $65,000 and has covered less then 1,000 miles since the appraisal...I would have no hesitation in taking this car on a nice long trip..it drives extremely well...

The car is available to be inspected at my home anytime...if you have any questions give me a call..(781) 267 2658......Eugene

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
