83,961 miles, on ebay 05/08, at dealer, car appears to be a dark silver gray--I do not believe this to be a color offered in 1973. Seller writes: This 1973 Jaguar Series III V12 OTS that we are offering belonged to a collector in Texas who always kept it well maintained and cared for. It was recently restored to a show/driver level by a Jaguar professional. This car is presented in a spectacular color combination, Silver Gray Metallic exterior with black interior, top, and boot. During the restoration process, the Jaguar received a completely new base coat/clear coat paint job, color sanded, and buffed to perfection. The interior, top, and boot are new, which were fitted nicely. The brightwork was replaced or restored as needed. This Jaguar received new tires, wheels, knock offs, and windshield, etc. It also features factory A/C. The cooling, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems were serviced and gone through. The instruments were cleaned and serviced. This car has received a major tune-up and a full vehicle detail. It has a new electronic ignition system. The carburetors were rebuilt. The suspension and brakes were restored. The radiator was rodded out, stripped, and painted. New fuel filters and hoses were installed, as well as the fuel pump was overhauled. The gas tanked was cleaned and painted. The exhaust system was upgraded to a new stainless steel system, and it has a new battery and brackets. It is a very collectible, beautiful example in a very rare color combination making this a very desirable car to own, drive and show. This V12 appeals not only to the collector, but it would be a great first time Jaguar for any connoisseur. Don't miss this opportunity, it's hard to find a Series III E-Type in this condition.
