1973 JAGUAR TYPE E
CABRIOLET SERIE 3
Châssis n° 1S22740

Acquired by the present owner in 2009, this magnificent Type E V12 Cabriolet arrived in France in 2006, directly from the United States. His first French owner has retained 3 years, regularly maintains and raises a GTrag 5 speed gearbox, then sold it to its current owner. This one decides to refresh in 2015 and offers him a new poly-gloss paint the most beautiful effect. All body elements have of course been filed for the occasion. The upholstery is then renovated and reteinted. The carpets are new and the top has hardly served. Besides a regular routine maintenance, new chrome wire wheels were mounted and the brake master cylinder replaced. Accompanied by her complete file, this superb Type E reliable, no cost to consider before getting fun driving, the prodigious blast of its V12 does the rest.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
