Dispatched to Mann Egerton of Leigh on Sea on 3 September 1973. A pre delivery inspection was carried out on 6 October when the mileage was recorded at 106. Purchased by Roy Wood on 8 October 1973, the car was registered OHJ221M with Southend County Borough on that day. Mann Egerton carried out the 1,000 mile service with the odometer reading 983 on 6 November.

The second owner from Havering purchased the car on 1 July 1978. On 29 February 1980 the car was MOT'd at Mike Young's Garage at Hornchurch, the recorded mileage was 17,685. On 8 March 1994 the MOT certificate was issued showing the mileage at 17,692, in storage, only 7 miles were covered in the 14 years from 29 February 1980 to 8 March 1994. The car was sold to the third owner from Chalfont St Giles by Thoroughbred Cars of Leytonstone for £37,995 on 22 April 1994.

It was sold by Vintage and Prestige Fine Cars of Grays in February 2016. Completely original it is fully equipped with its original tool kit, jack, tonneau cover and factory hard top. The car has a detailed written history documenting the three previous owners with the mileages they recorded, correspondence, complete set of MOT certificates and numerous service invoices all confirming the car has covered only 19,000 miles from new.
