This vehicle is in very good mechanical condition for its age, there are many bills for all the work that has been carried out on the vehicle.
Leno Pires the owner of the butcher's arms restaurant in the village of priers Hardwick near Brambury owned this vehicle in 1986 until 1999. He had the pleasure of serving the owners of the jaguar company in Coventry, this wetted his appetite to own a jag. Because of his excellent wine and food he got the best advice, guidance and help in looking after his E-Type Jaguar. He eventually sold the car 1999 to a customer for £25,000 over an excellent lunch and the most exquisite bottle of wine. The customer who shall be nameless bought it for his girlfriend who without the benefit of the excellent wine, decided she preferred a more modern car and decided she didn't want it (silly girl!!). We now have the job of marketing this lovely car to the highest bidder, it's an excellent original example of the wonderful E-Type Jaguar Series 3 marques.
Born in Coventry, built in Coventry this car has lived all its life in England except for an excursion to Portugal where Mr lino Pires took it to his family home on one of his holidays.
