Sold new in California, the car was exported to Europe in 1999 and underwent a cosmetic restoration in 2001 including a complete re-spray. Imported into the Netherlands in 2014 it has recently been sold by Witmer and Odijk Classic and Special Cars of Warmond. Described as being in very fine and good condition, it has the original engine with four SU carburettors and manual transmission. The interior is excellent, the leather upholstery is original and in very good condition and only the steering wheel has been replaced. A carefully and lightly used car, it is equipped with air conditioning, power steering, adjustable steering wheel, tinted glass, luggage rack and chrome wire wheels. 67,700 miles. 72,950 euros.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
