Ebay item 10/1/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $32,300 reserve not met, 3 bids 3 days left in auction. 62k miles. Buy it now price $42,500.

Sellers description:
This is a one year only color, love, hate color. My first impression was how absolutely beautiful the car was. Others that have walked into the showroom have expressed the same sentiment, others don't like it, some like blondes, some like redheads. The integrity of the car will be shared by all-VERY HIGH! The body integrity is that of a non rusty, non accident automoble with great body gaps, and straight body panels. The engine is very smooth, easy to start, non smoker. The transmission is smooth, brakes good, exhaust perfect. The electronics on the car function perfectly. The car is exactly as represented in the pictures with the patina of an older restored example. The nose has a small unfortunate bump, we have a restoration shop on the premises, I can have the nose fixed with a small amount of money and time invested. The top and top boot are both in good condition. The leather, carpets, gauges, door panels, dash cap, glass, all in excellent condition. The bottomside of the drive train is relatively dry, especially for a 12 cyl. Jaguar. This is a great driver that would take very little to be competitive on the concourse circuit.

The original interior color was Cinnamon. This is the only known '72 Roadster that is Ascot Fawn.

Hi, I know another '72 OTS sold new in the US that also was Ascot Fawn and Cinnamon interior, Black hood. Unfortunately it also has been retrimmed in Black (in Germany) and the car (#1S20198) is now in Finland, still Ascot Fawn and MY1972. Cheers!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
