Imported into the United Kingdom from the United States in 2015 and currently for sale at Northern Jaguar of Harrogate. Described as a very nice series 3 V12 roadster, finished in Primrose yellow with complimenting black interior. Mohair soft top. Manual transmission, an original LHD car which was exported to the Caribbean when new. This V12 is from very early in the production run being the 21st car manufactured. A straight honest car with a low mileage of 45,000 miles. Professionally stored for many years hence the fantastic coachwork. Totally rust free.

Sold by E Type UK of Hadlow in January 2020. Abbreviated seller's description below.

Delivered to British Leyland New York as an original left hand drive manual finished in Pale Primrose with Black interior. One of the earliest Series 3 examples, it is the 21st car manufactured. It remained in the States for most of its life and was recorded in 2009 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 2015 it was imported into the United Kingdom, unrestored and in its original factory finish. The E Type was available for sale at a classic Jaguar specialist near Harrogate. A year later in went to E Type UK for a full restoration and finish to UK specification including conversion to right hand drive.
Our specialist metalwork team stripped the car back to bare metal revealing shabby repairs and rust. The E Type had new floor pans, sills and other sections fitted working with the customer's desire to retain as much of the original metalwork as possible. The car was treated to a full colour change and finished in Opalescent Gunmetal with Oxblood Red interior. The engine was fully rebuilt and mechanical upgrades were fitted to include fuel injection, 5 speed gearbox, upgraded cooling, stainless steel exhaust and bespoke wheels and tyres.
It was fully restored and delivered to the customer in Summer 2016. He dry stored and used the car sparingly. 12 months later the car returned to E Type UK for fitment of a body coloured hardtop and later offered for sale. It presents a rare opportunity to invest as a freshly restored and sparingly used Series 3 completed to a high standard and offering a modern driving experience.
