We are very pleased to offer today this late entered 1974 Jaguar 'E' Type V12 Roadster which has been with the present owner for approximately thirteen years. It has an extremely good history and the mileage of 34,000 miles is believed to be genuine from new.
It is totally original and not restored and, although the paintwork is not to show standard, it is very good indeed and the engine has recently been removed and detailed whilst at the same time all the engine frames have been painted. It has the much preferred manual gearbox and the 5343cc engine and it is currently tested until May next year.
Very good unmolested examples of this model of car are now extremely difficult to find and being an original U.K. right hand drive car it should be eagerly contested at today's sale.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
