Advertised privately on carsales. com.au on 7 March 2017 with an asking price of AU$150,000. Carries registration plate NSW CF-85-VZ. Seller’s description follows: “Jaguar E-type series 3 V12 1971. Only 64000 km on the clock. Very good condition. You won't find a car like this anywhere else. Vehicle registration paid until Nov 2016. A roadworthy certificate will be supplied.”
This same E-type was also advertised by a dealer on carsales. com.au 7 March 2017 with an asking price of AU$199,990. Dealer’s description follows: “1974 Jaguar E-Type Convertible with Hard Top. Only 40,991miles on the odometer. This Jag drives like a dream with a smooth V12 engine and slick shifting 4 speed manual transmission. The black leather interior is in great condition with a Sony stereo and Moto-Lita Jaguar wood trimmed steering wheel. Car history and service papers included with vehicle. Recently obtained from an avid Australian car collector of rare, collectible vehicles. They have been stored for 10 years and are sold as presented.”
