Ebay item 3/11/06 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Opening bid $46,990, no reserve, no bids yet, 3 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
JAGUAR E type
1971 - first prototype of E-type is heading out of Jaguar factory. In this time only few people belived that it will become "legend of all legends". Yes, this is exactly the way how Jauguar E-type is described nowadays. Its charming caot can not be overlooked by anyone.
In its times - no doubt about its inconquerable power, perfect driving properties and the most beautiful body work. In the test „top 100 cars“ of British magazine Top Gear, E-type won!
It has been manufactured on the basis of racing model D-type. Engine power 269 HP and torque 345n.m. were in its times excelent values. That is why there was a concept of steel chassisless body similar to the one in LeMans racing cars.
Interior was made very precisly as well, black padding, together with metal accessories are responsible for sports but also very elegant look. The car is equiped with radio, loud-speakers and speedometer. Seats are very low and space appears pretty narrow. Thanks to almost vertical front window the drivers view is very good.
On the road Jaguar is very fast. Not even today Jaguar E-type has anything to be ashamed for. The performances are still excellent and its unique shape is immortal. For car experts this model is the absolute jwel and that is why it is almost impossible to get it.
Technical data
* Year: 1973
* Cylinders: 12
* Mileage: 8000 miles after complete renovation

At Auction Brooklands Historics July 19th 2011 Estimate £32-38K
Engine number listed as 7S9709SA but probably a mistake?
Restored well in 2002, this extremely fine example of V12 Roadster has been well looked after. Described by the vendor as nine out of ten in all respects, RDB 987M has been looked after in recent years by Jaguar specialist, Alan Collins of Maldon, its mechanical integrity can therefore be relied upon. With just 5,000 travelled since its restoration, brand new wire wheels and a full one year MoT test certificate, this exciting example is certainly worthy of further inspection.

For sale at Historics Brooklands on 7th June 2014
www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2014-06-07/car/jaguar-e-type-siii-roadster-% ...
1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III Roadster
Registration 787 DG
Chassis Number 1S1881
Engine Number 7S9709SA
Odometer reading 5,890 miles
Estimate £38,000 - £45,000
Restored well in 2002, this extremely fine example of V12 Roadster has been well looked after. Described by the vendor as nine out of ten in most respects, 787 DG has been looked after in recent years by Jaguar specialist, Alan Collins of Maldon, its mechanical integrity can therefore be relied upon. Unfortunately, the paperwork has been mislaid during a house move but it does still retain its UK registration papers and valid MoT test certificate. With fewer than 6,000 travelled since its restoration, brand new wire wheels and a lengthy MoT test certificate, this elegant example is certainly worthy of further inspection.
